Hickory Withe is a community in Fayette County in southwestern Tennessee. It has a population of only around 139 people and has a median income of around $65,000. The small town is located in the Memphis metropolitan area. It consists of a scenic and peaceful environment and many historical buildings. The town also used to have an abundance of hickory trees, which is where the community gets its name. Hickory Withe was settled in 1834 by families that originally were living in South Carolina.
