What is Lash and Brow Tinting?
Lash and brow tinting are cosmetic procedures that can be performed separately or together for natural-looking enhancements. Semi-permanent dye is used to darken the lashes or brows for either a natural-looking refreshment or more dramatic rejuvenation. The eyebrows are typically matched to the patient’s natural hair color, but the eyelashes can be tinted black for the semi-permanent effect of mascara. A lash lift can also be added to your lash tint to lift and curl the lashes upward.

Am I a Candidate for Lash and Brow Tinting?
Anyone who wants to trim down their morning routine with a beautifully natural no-makeup look can benefit from lash and brow tinting. Clients with light-colored eyebrows and/or lashes are especially good candidates since it takes a bit more work to create a noticeable brow. People with dark lashes may benefit from lash lifts alone since an eyelash tint may not create much difference on lashes that are already dark brown or nearly black. People with thin or sparse brows or those who simply want a semi-permanent touch-up are also great candidates.
What to Expect
During your cosmetic procedure, you can relax in one of our comfortable treatment rooms while your esthetician tints your natural lashes and/or brows. For eyebrow tinting, a layer of Vaseline will be applied around the desired brow shape so that the surrounding skin is not stained. The dye will be carefully applied to the brow hairs with a small brush and left to sit for a few minutes. Our experienced aesthetician will make sure your natural brows are accentuated with the dye and not completely changed.
During lash tinting, silicone pads will be placed on your closed eyelids against the lash line and your lashes will be curled upwards to lay across the pads. A keratin-infused serum will be applied to the lashes to set them into place. Next, the tint will be applied to the lashes. If you only wish to have a lash tint, this step will be shortened since the keratin serum will not be applied. Lifting and tinting last about four weeks as the hairs naturally fall out and new lashes grow with a lighter natural color.
